About The Little Village

Thank you for your interest in The Little Village.

Conveniently located in Dobbs Ferry, NY, our daycare center has an experienced and dedicated staff that uses a child-centered curriculum to keep your child engaged and happy in our care. Our unique programming includes music, dramatic play, creative arts, storytelling, field trips, and both indoor and outdoor recreation.

 

We are proud to offer:

  • Care for children 6 weeks to 5 years
  • Convenient hours: Monday-Friday, 7:15am-6pm
  • Healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day

We are fully licensed by New York State, and accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

 

The Little Village started as a daycare facility for staff of The Children’s Village (CV). However, we quickly realized the need for local daycare in the Rivertowns. Today, the majority of the kids at the Little Village come from the local community.

 

Our location on the CV campus offers unique advantages, including access to a fully-staffed medical clinic and a serene outdoor play area that’s free from traffic noise. It also enables us to keep tuition rates low and offer higher salaries and full benefits, which has helped us hire an amazing staff with very low attrition.
